| Since its creation in 1965, the association
has brought foreign students into contact with French families for cultural
and friendly exchanges. In no case does the association take on the responsibility of finding lodgings for the students. On the contrary, it allows the students, for no fee, to meet families who want to share the history, culture and architecture of this beautiful area. |

| Thanks to this contacts, the
students find a family-like atmosphere again, and are able to speak the
French they are learning every day. It must not be forgotten that the Frenchspoken
in the Touraine area has the reputation of being the purest, with the most
authentic accent.
In short, the assoc helps foreign students to discover, understand and
experience "the French art of living" better. At the same time,
the students are their countries' ambassadors which we learn to know and
to love. Some foreigners who came to Tours 35 years ago recommend that
